Open House This Month

New Night for Griefshare
GriefShare has moved to Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 PM in room 101. If you are struggling with the death of someone close, whether 5 months or 5 years ago, please join us. This session will run through May. MCCC Softball Signups
Play Ball!!! Season begins in April and ends in August. You must be 14 years of age by end of season to play. Cost is $25 per person; $12.50 each additional family member; a maximum of $50. Money must be paid by April 4th to be be placed on roster. No pay-No play!

Serving Opportunities

Can You Be a Host Family?
Host families needed for injured children from Haiti - Shriner's and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals are working with Healing the Children and another missions organization to get medical visas for children who have been injured in Haiti's recent tragedy. Healing The Children is in the process of getting children here in as little as 2 to 4 weeks. If you are interested in providing a home for an injured child while they undergo treatment at local hospitals, go to this website and complete the form: www.htcmichiganohio.org/. Casting Prayers Ministry
The Casting Prayers Ministry team continues its work to provide comforting quilts to terminally ill patients at the Mercy Hospitals. The group meets Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. On March 4, 11, 18, and 25, participants will learn how to cut, stitch, tie, and bind a new quilt pattern. No experience is necessary. On Saturday, March 6, we will work together as a team to complete a number of quilts. If you can't join us, please pray for this ministry and consider making a donation of 100% cotton fabrics. Local Outreach Update—Come join us!
Join us every Saturday (rain or shine) as we continue taking love to our neighbors. We'll leave the church parking lot at 11 a.m. each week to hand out groceries to our neighbors in need. You don't need to bring anything - just show up! We'll plan on serving 1 building (approximately 90 apartments) each week. It's a great opportunity to meet the very safe, practical needs of our neighbors, and meet others at Mt. Carmel as we go out and serve for about 45 minutes.

This will be a weekend to get away and grow as an individual and with the group. With girl/guy breakouts, the weekend is sure to be a fantastic one!

2010 MCCC Golf League At Lindale Golf Club
The Mt. Carmel Christian Church Golf League is now forming for 2010. League play will begin April 27th and probably end mid to late August depending on how many golfers join the league. We will be playing 9 holes every Tuesday evening. The 1st tee time will be at 6:00pm each night. We will be playing as two (2) man teams again this year and the cost will be $ 15.00 per week per golfer. A few changes for this season:
We will be playing at least 16 weeks and maybe up to 20 weeks depending on how many golfers sign up.
Tee times for the league will be fixed, so we will need to be better at starting on time this year.
Make-up rounds will not be allowed this year (except due to weather). Subs can be used if you have to miss.Space is limited. Sign-ups for the league will be accepted through April 4th. The total cost for the league will be determined after the sign-up period is over.
Payment for the league can be made all at once on or before April 27th or divided into two (2) payments due by April 27th and June 8th. Any questions may be directed to Craig Souders
